Your urine contains a great deal of vital information about the condition of your body and your health. Your doctor looks for vitamin and iron deficiencies, as well as any lowlevels of nutrients that your body should have.

The doctor may look for signs of kidney or bladder disease in the sample. Your urine can show the doctor if too much sugar is passing into the urine. Pregnancy can be detected by a urine sample and if you are a male, some prostate problems will sometimes show up.
