Hair bleach, and Hair dye are the same things, they will both change your hair different colors. Hair bleach will lift your hair a lighter color, ultimately blond in most cases. Hair dye can range from any color. Each process includes putting dye on your hair, it's just how some people call it.

Hair bleach actually strips the color pigment out of your hair where as dye simply dyes the pigments. Bleach makes it easier to go from dark to light colors.
