There is some controversy regarding what separates them. LDS timeline includes the prophet Joseph Smith's accounts as noted in the Book of Mormon (which begins 600 BC) and the Bible's timeline is somewhat varied depending on whose theory of origin you agree with - those that say it was transcribed during the time of Christ or hundreds of years after.

There is no difference. The Church of Latter Day Saints believes in the Bible completely. The Book of Mormon is set in the 1800s, and tells of an angelic messenger visiting Joseph Smith.

The Book of Mormon was translated at this time, but the scripture itself was written from around 600BC to 400 AD.  add a comment

The timeline of the Bible and the Book of Mormon (LDS book) overlap. The Book of Mormon begins around 600 B. C. and includes the time during Christ's birth and death.
