A rebound is when you have been in a relationship that recently ended (or ended so badly) that you haven't gotten over it yet. A rebound person is someone who makes you feel better. This person helps you forget the old relationship. The common opinion is that rebound relationships don't work. This may or may not be true.

A rebound relationship is one where someone who has recently gone through a breakup jumps right into a new relationship, either for distraction, or to quickly replace what was lost. Basically, it is a relationship that is entered into for the wrong reasons, and thus is very unlikely to last.

A rebound is the person you date after you have broken up or been broke up with an ex. Some people think a rebound as just having sex after breaking up with someone or a way to show yourself you don't need your ex.

A rebound relationship is when you have a breakup and you start seeing another person before you are over the person you split up with.
