Cystitis need to be treated with antibotics and fluids such as cranberry juice which has high acidity which keeps bacteria from forming in the bladder. Urinating more frequently and immediately after sex will keep bacteria from backing up into the urinary tract. it is very important to treat immediately because of possibility of infections to other organs in the body

Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder; can be known as a urinary tract infection. Bacterial cystitis is treated with a round of antibiotics, and usually clears up within a few days. To prevent a recurrence, drink plenty of water, urinate often, and wipe from back to front after a bowel movement.
