Quiche is best reheated in the oven. Set the oven on a low temperature, 300-350 degrees and reheat the quiche in the original pan or a metal pan for 8-10 minutes. Reheating in the microwave will make the eggs slimmy and the crust will become soft instead of flakey.

Never reheat in toaster oven since the heat will be too close to the pie. Always use oven and place on second rack to bottom. Top and crust will burn or cook unevenly even for reheat in toaster.

Reheat a quiche by doing it on very low heat. If you use a conventional oven, use 275 deg. If using a microwave, set it at no more 50% and it works best if you have a turntable. If possible reheat after cutting into serving pieces so the heat gets to the center before cooking the edges.

My grandmother used to reheat all of her food. She always used a steamer. The key to reheating food with this method is to place the food on a plate, and balance the plate on top of the steamer, then cover it. Quiche will not become soggy, like in a microwave, and will not dry out like in the oven.

Put it in a microwave for 1-2 minutes on high. Or, put it in a toaster over on the "Toast" setting for a few minutes.

Never reheat quiche on high in the microwave! Soggy crust, overcooked custard. I've made hundreds of quiches. Bring to room temp prior to oven reheat for 20 minutes. Reheat in oven 300 15 minutes, uncovered in original pie pan, pre cut portions to allow even reheat in center.  add a comment
