Rinse the crab legs in hot water. Parallely, heat oil in a pan, add spices such as ginger-garlic paste, tomato paste, pepper, turmeric and salt to taste. Let the spices cook for a while and then drop the carb legs into the pan and cook for sometime. It's ready.

Most frozen crablegs are already cooked(red/orange shell) so you just have to heat them up. Boil a pot of salted water, add the crabs and lower the heat to simmer for 5-7 minutes. If the crabs are raw (blue/green/black shell), cook for 15-20 minutes instead. Rinse and serve at once.

As frozen crab legs are usually already cooked, you are not actually cooking them. First, thaw your crab legs in the refrigerator. I find that steaming is best. Use either a colander or a vegetable basket. Steam them for 4-5 minutes, less for smaller legs, in a large pot filled with a few inches of water. Enjoy!

Steam them in a minimal amount of water and add any aromatics you might want to flavor them. I usually add garlic, scallions, and a little ginger to the water,
