What is the best way to bbq a steak?

Answer by  Peg (459)

Get the grill very hot. Lightly coat the grill with oil applied with a folded paper towel to prevent the steak from sticking. Make sure the grill is hot then place the steak on the grill. Grill on each side for about 3 or 4 minutes.

First, heat grill until hot. Rub steak with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place steak on grill and cover. After a few minutes, rotate the meat 90 degrees, but don't flip it. Once you see the uncooked side starting to turn grey, flip, and follow the rotating again. Move to another area of the grill if it flames up.

The best way would be to use a grill outside. If you do not have a grill you could simulate the bbq by using the oven. The taste will not be as strong but you will still have a good steak that you can enjoy and serve to your guests.

First marinade your steak in equal amounts of red wine and soy sauce and about a teaspoon of salt, for about three hours. Grill your steak on each side for four-six minutes and you have a perfectly bbqed steak.

Steaks are best when they are BBQ'd on a grill. This gives them the smoky flavor that you just can't get indoors. Be sure you don't over cook it, because nothing turns a great steak into a dried out hockey puck like cooking all of the natural juices out of it.
