The best and most timeless Valentine's Day candy by far has got to be the Necco Sweethearts. Everyone recognizes them when Valentine's Day rolls around and I'm pretty sure everyone loves them no matter how disgusting they actually seem to taste. Everyone recognizes these when February rolls around and shelves are stocked with them.

The best Valentine's Day candy is candy that you make! Buy fresh strawberries, melt some chocolate in a double-boiler and then dip the strawberries in the chocolate.
