Clean and sterilize the wound. Apply numbing or antibiotic cream and depending on how large the hole is they may need stitches. Antibiotics by mouth may also be prescribed to prevent infection.

Although they sometime bleed profusely, cuts in the lips heal very fast due to blood flow to the area. I would expect that after cleansing the lip, applying some ice to reduce swelling and applying some pressure to stop bleeding, it will be fine. Otherwise, I will go to see a doctor.

If it is a small hole you can apply creams like EMLA which are available over the counter. It is a topical anaesthetic which gives you temporary relief. You can also apply any cream prescribed for oral ulcers,if you have one. But if it is a large one ,it is advisable to see a dentist.

Nothing, the mouth is the fastest healing place on our bodies. I would rinse your mouth out with warm salt water just to keep the bleeding down. However you do not need to do anything else to it, it will go back the way it was and heal all by itself.

Rinse with warm salt water until the bleeding has slowed. Put a bag of ice on the outside of the cheek to keep it from swelling. And it all should heal up just fine in maybe a day or two. The mouth is very fast at healing itself.

To help the wound heal, swish with clean salt water twice a day. Avoid acidic foods, such as tomatoes or salsa, as these can aggravate the wound more. Try not to poke at the wound with your tongue.

Rinse the area with water and Place pressure on the wound to keep it from bleeding. Try and ice as the area as well. Seek medical help to check and see if stitches are necessary. You may also need an antibiotic to prevent infection and a special diet to prevent irritation.
