What is the best terra cotta chimney cap on the market?

I need to replace my chimney caps and want to replace it with a terra cotta one but do not know the ratings of them.

I personally do not like the terra cotta chimney caps. These are prone to temperature differentials that are potentially dangerous. If you have a really hot fire and a really cold winter they can crack. I like the cast iron caps, they have more give. You can probably get away with a Craftsman model but don't expect it to last.

They are generally all the same but the trick will be getting one that matches you existing roof. There are manufacturers that will specialize in making a special cap for an increased price. Depending on how bad you want it to match this would be a good option Free Brick is one of the best.

Chimney caps are not made of terra cotta. It is the chimney liners that are made from this materiel. You should look for a galvanized or stainless steel one.

the best terra cotta chimney cap on the market is specifically designed to put on the chimney and is always made of some material with lines which will be an added beauty of this cap. basically chimney cap are terra cotta or tiles which is available in the market with different shades and colors.
