Pepper steak-Tenderize 3 lbs cube beef. Boil it in a skillet of water until almost done. Add 1 large onion cut into rings, 1 large bell pepper cut into strips and 2 small cans of sliced mushrooms. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add 2 envelopes of brown gravy. Cook until gravy thickens. Serve over plain cooked white rice.
