What is the best paper for drafting sewing patterns?

Answer by  Jimbob (2275)

Vellum paper is the best paper to be used when copying patterns for sewing as you can see through the paper. But you will want to remember to get a size big enough to fit over the entire piece of fabric.

I prefer to use onion paper. Its kind of like wax paper but without the wax. Its just translucent enough to let you see the pattern easily.
