The best place to get a Panasonic DVD recorder is either Wal-mart or Target. These are going to be your best deals because of the cheap prices and awesome quality for the Panasonic brand. I currently have one and bought mine at Wal-Mart and its done its job, twice over.

The Panasonic DMR-EZ48VK might be your best bet. It has 1080p up conversion, allowing you to record non-HD TV in HD quality. Looking at the product sheets it has quite a few other features that may be quite useful. It comes with a remote and is very slinder. It would be what I would get.

The Panasonic DMR EZ28EB-S DVD recorder is my recomendation. I like it because it has a built in TV tuner and is very pleasing to use. It works when you need it most and that is what I look for in a DVD recorded. Reliability.
