What is the best literary work of all time?

Personally, I think that The Great Gatsby is the best literary work of all time because F. Scott Fitzgerald does not put in one false line and the prose is extraordinary. It is one of the only books I have read more than one time. I love the story and there is genius in the writing.

I would say Hamlet. Tragedy, drama, a great story that really allows you to examine the mind of a man lost in grief. But it also is a great reflection on the times that Shakespeare wrote in.
