Bladder infections are serious ailments in pets, and are usually very painful. Your vet needs to perform a urinalysis on your dog and give you proper treatment options, usually including an antibiotic. Dogs can also get bladder stones, so please take your dog to the vet!

By all means, this should be treated by a veterinarian. Home treatments could cause undo suffering in your dog when time is of the essence when treating this infection. Bladder infections can also cause death in a very short time if left untreated. Home remedies may not be as reliable as a veterinarian's medicine. Antibiotics are in order.

You'll know if your dog has a bladder infection due to frequent urination that may consist of cloudy or bloody urine. The best treatment would to take it to the vet and have them create a treatment.

There are no good home treatments for unprofessionally-diagnosed conditions. You are only 'pretty sure' your dog has a bladder infection, but it could be many other things. Take your dog to a vet now, if you really care about it. If not, adopt it out to someone who will.
