What is the best diesel car?

Finding the best diesel car is dependent on what kind of car you are looking for and what sort of the budget you have. Mercedes Benz makes some of the best diesel cars, but are expensive. Volkswagen makes some less expensive, quality diesel cars.

This is based solely upon preference. But based upon awards, mileage and track record for reliability, a Volkswagen is an EXCELLENT diesel car. They are generally cheap to maintain and have been known to last as many years as the owner take decent care of it and does all sheduled maintenance.

There haven't been many new entries into the car market for diesel cars. High end Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Volkswagen are the only manufacturers with 2010 models.

In my opinion, the best diesel car is the vw jetta tdi. The jetta is very affordable, is very economical, and it looks good. If your looking for more luxury, the BMW 335d is very nice, and very fast because it has 425 lb ft of torque. The BMW will cost you around $50k while the jetta is

it depends on the driver,sometimes the same car can give a lot more problembs because of the driver,for instance brake and clutch problembs because of excessive use of the drivers feet,and gearbox problembs because of not changing gears properly,i myself find the toyota avensis to be a very good diesel
