Arizona soil is dry which makes it a tough area to plant a decent garden or flower bed. You must be willing to till the soil and water often as well as add plenty of additives to the ground

Like any state, there is a multitude of different soils within the state, depending on which area you are moving to. However, for the most part, Arizona has an abundance of clean sands with a low percentage of clay.
