(NVQ) National Vocational Qualifications are (5)-levels of work-awards based on National Occupational Standards in the United Kingdom. NVQ Level-1 represents "predictable & routine" work competence. More-advanced levels deal with collaboration with others, complex/non-routine tasks, autonomy/personal-responsibility, management, ... NVQ Level-2 is generally the entry-level/minimum for most social & some health-care work; and NVQ Level-3 is often required to BEGIN health-care training.
