Touchdowns - are scored when a team advances the football past the goal line, and are worth six points. Extra points - are when the ball is kicked through the goal posts after a touchdown. Field goals - are kicked when a team is unable to score a touchdown, and are worth three points

Keep it simple, you don't want too many questions. One of the easy things to watch for is a "blitz pickup. " When the offense is passing, the defense will sometimes blitz, or send extra players after the quarterback. Watch the running back stay in to block the extra rusher.
