Most people who are bitten by a mosquito will have some redness, itching, and mild discomfort. However, in people with the Skeeter syndrome; they will experience a more severe allergic reaction. Blisters, severe rashes, large areas of swelling, and perhaps bruising is typically seen in someone with the Skeeter syndrome.

Skeeter syndrome is a severe reaction due to mosquito bites which gets allergy and causes fever. This is caused from the mosquito's saliva and therefore is not contagious. This syndrome can be prevented by using insect repellents and protective clothing.

This is just the name for people that have severe (even life threatening) allergic reactions to mostquito bites. Its pretty rare.

Skeeter syndrome is basically a severe allergic reaction to a mosquito bite. It is caused by the mosquito saliva and causes inflammation and fever but is not contagious. To prevent this, you can use insect repellent, wear clothing that covers bare skin and avoid mosquito dense areas. The treatment usually consist of hydrocortisone cream and allergy medications.
