What is proper microfiber furniture care?

Over the years, I have had several stains and wear and tare.

My microfiber is easily cleaned with a sponge and warm water. If there are stains or dirt that doesn't off with water alone, use a solution of water and a few pinches of OxiClean. I have also removed cushion covers and put them in washing machine on gentle (air dry).

I use a soft terry cloth towel. Dampen it with warm water and add a little dish detergent. Make sure the cloth is not overly soapy or soaking wet. Then blot your stain and rub gently. Naturally steam cleaning the area would be possible with a small hand held device.

It depends on the label. If a sofa has a "W", it means that water is what you need to use for cleaning. If it has an "S", it implies that you should use solvent cleaners. If it has an S-W, both types of methods can be used! Good luck.

A cheap way to remove stains is clear window cleaner. You have to spray the stain with it and rub it in with warm water using a clean cloth.
