You will need to fly in an airline that permits pets aboard. You will need to have a copy of the dog's medical records and rabies vaccination record in case you are asked to show them upon entering the island.

You must see to it the airline which allows the pets to take abroad. A copy of medical records of their rabies vaccination is received atleast 30 days before the entry. Younger ones must be taken only if they are three months old and they have received vaccinations.

Laws: -Be free of zoonotic diseases. -A valid rabies vaccination certificate and the rabies vaccine was recieved at least 30 days prior to entry. -Young puppies must be confined until they are three months old, then they must recieve vaccinations. Then remain confined for a month after the vaccination.

Relocating a dog to Puerto Rico is not easy. First, the airline would ask you the size of the dog. Second, the airline employee will probably ask you for the dog's documentation and medical records, in order to make sure that your dog has all his shots.

Travelling with pets is not a easy task. Pets will only need regular domestic health certificates as well as proof of current vaccinations. Also, Try to book a direct flight to make traveling as easy as possible.
