What is involved in connecting a generic o2 sensor on a Toyota Sienna?

I'd like to attempt the upgrade myself, as dealerships are too expensive.

Usually the only thing you have to do with a generic o2 sensor is cut the connector off and hard wire it to the connector on the car side. It is usually 2 to 3 wires.

You need to unscrew the old sensor from with a wrench. Then you need to screw the new one in, and tighten it with a wrench until its snug.

A generic sensor is install pretty much the same as a factory one. The only difference is that you may need you cut and splice some wires. Start by removing the old one with the correct 02 sensor socket. Then install the new one with a bit of anti seize. Then connect the wires to the stock wiring.
