In the context of Reiki, internal alignment refers to proper musculo-skeletal position and balance. The spine, internal organs and muscular system are balanced and coordinated to promote overall physical health.

Internal alignment is a philosophy that extols the pairing of ones internal beliefs, values and goals, with their external words and actions. A person who acts contradictory to their beliefs show a lack of internal alignment.

Internal alignment is when your goals, beliefs, and actions are all in moral alignment. For example, someone who thinks debt is bad should not be offering credit cards. But if he helped open savings accounts, he is in internal alignment.
