Tissue usually sloughed off during menstruation deposits on the outside of the ovaries, tubes, and uterus. There is no know cure, but hormone medicines and birth control bills and even pregnancy have been known to alleviate pain caused when the tissue builed up.

Endometriosis is a condition in which the uterine lining grows on other parts of the body (typically in the pelvic area). This can cause pain, irregular bleeding/menstrual cycles, and fertility problems. Endometriosis is treatable, you should talk to your doctor about what might help your condition.

Endometriosis is a condition in females where endrometrial cells, typically found in the uterine cavity, are deposited in inappropriate locations. These cells are intended to line the uterine cavity, but often during years of reproduction an egg implantation outside of the uterus will cause the endometrial cells to deposit outside of the uterus.

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus is found elsewhere in the body. The most common symptom is pelvic pain. This pain correlates to a women's menstrual cycle and can be severe and in some cases debilitating. Other symptoms include possible infertility and scar tissue on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and pelvic wall.

Sorry that you have this, as it can be very painful. It is when the endometrial cells grow outside of the uterus, and cause pain during your period, sex, sometimes bowel movements, and can cause infertility. There is a lot that your doctor can do to help, but the most important thing is to get the lesions under control.

Endometriosis is the growth of cells similar to those that form the inside of the uterus (endometrial cells), but in a location outside of the uterus. Endometriosis affects women in their reproductive years. Endometriosis can be treated with medications, such as, NSAIDS and other anit-imfammatories. If serious enough, it can also be treated surgically.
