Capoeira music is based on rhythms that controls the speed and type of game in Capoeira which is a Brazilian martial art form. It is not always set to video. Instruments used are the berimbau, the atabaque- a type of drum, the pandero which is a tambourine and the agogo bell which is like two cowbells.

I remember caoperia music being of brazillian background. I remember learning about this in history of world music. Music sets the rhythm of the style of play, and energy of the game.

Capoeira Music is a distinct genre of afro-Brazilian music that was popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. This rhythm-based genre of music consists of three different styles and about 5-8 types of instruments. These instruments include: ngoma drums, up to 3 berimbaus, up to 2 pandeiros, an agogĂ´, a reco-reco, and an atabaque (conga).
