Well lets see i hope first of all yuor not filling it with only water but a coolent mixture , the water dosent make to much difence as long as its not rusty or filled with sediment.

Most manufacturers recommend that you use a purified and de-ionized water to mix with coolant. That way there is the least chance of contamination and corrosion occurring inside the system due to electrolysis.

First of all, remember that you never want to use only water int he radiator. Always mix it about 50/50 with antifreeze of a type suggested by the manufacturer. The type of water that is best to mix with the antifreeze is "Distilled Water" because it has no minerals.

The best water for car radiator is distilled water.Winter can put antifreeze in combination with distilled water to not freeze
