The simple example of non-renewable energy source is mineral oil (like petroleum), technically it can be renewed but it to occur takes way too many years. Nuclear energy is also non-renewable, but is much cleaner than other non-renewable energy sources, the only problem is nuclear waste, that needed to be safely stored for the hundreds of years.

Examples are coal or oil. They are "renewable" but it would take some million years. Nuclear Energy is non-renewable too, because you need uranium

Coal is one example of this. Coal exists in certain quantities in the ground, and has a finite supply. Nuclear material is the same; it is non-renewable.
