There are alot of teas/herbal remedies that can help. Peppermint tea is a well-known stomach aid that helps with nausea. Ginger tea or candied ginger is also suggested for women with morning sickness or people with nausea. Try snacking on some crackers to absorb excess stomach acid in your gut.

A couple home remedies I've come across that actually work are as follows. Add a tablespoonful or two to a hot mug of water, stir until dissolved, and sip as you would hot tea. The same general idea works with a little lemon juice (or combine both). Ginger Ale, and 7up, are supposed to ease a queasy stomach too.

Nausea, queasiness or upset stomach are symptoms and it is important to know what is causing them before rushing in with a remedy. The real remedy is to find the cause and then take appropriate steps to put things right.Do you have bad eating habits, some chronic disease, overindulge in alcohol or tobacco or could you be pregnant? Is it a longstanding problem?

If you are not lactose intolerant, sometimes drinking a glass of whole milk helps calm an upset stomach. Many dairy products can be effective in this way.
