What is an appropriate gift for an Eagle Scout at his court of honor?

Anything to with camping or the wilderness. Perhaps his own tent or a new sleeping bag? If he's old enough, you could get him a hunting knife.

Generally, you give the same type of gift you would at a birthday -- nothing too expensive but something that shows thoughtfulness. Eagle or scouting themed gifts are always a good choice. And most Eagle Scouts appreciate a card or not telling him how proud you are of his efforts.
