The recommended daily calorie intake for any adult person is supposed to be between 1500 and 2000 calories each day. This amount can fluctuate according to a person's overall size and weight. For example, a 115 lb woman would need many less calories to function each day than a 250 lb man.

There's no exact number but only a reference one around 2000 calories because weight, height, age and physical activity needs to be consider. Depending on these variables people can subtract or add 200 calories. However 2000 calories is very reasonable and applicable also to men so try to use a calorie calculator to better reach the right calories intake.

A woman's recommended daily caloric intake is 2,000 calories, assuming that she is non-sedentary (that is, that she moves around during the day). It can go down to 1,500 calories or up to 2,500 calories, depending on the woman's size, activity level, and metabolism. Most women, though, will be fine with the 2,000 recommended value.

For a low activity level, it should be 1500 to 1800 calories. For a medium activity level, it is 1800 to 2000 calories. For a high activity level or pregnancy, consume 2000 to 2300 calories. This amount varies by activity level, body weight, and whether or not a woman is pregnant.
