What is a good workout for an Olympic volleyball player?

A good workout should start with simple warm-ups and stretching for 5 to 20 minutes. After this you should alternate between 5 minutes of jogging and 2 minutes of running for 30 minutes. If you want a full body workout you should then focus on weight training for 30 minutes followed by 30 minutes of a total cardio workout.

An Olympic volleyball player should include strength and flexibility training into their workout. Training with weights would be an effective method.

If you are an Olympic caliber volleyball player I would hope you know what a good workout is. However, a full body workout would be best for a volleyball player. I would pay particular attention to the calves as they are essential to jumping ability.
