You could do this by simply using a 20" box fan to recirculate the air or the more expensive option of installing a external through the wall fan.

Ventilation can be achieved in many ways, but a great way would be to install an exhaust fan in the garage running through the roof.

You can purchase a large-diameter fan if you do not already have one, and use this fan to cool off the garage in hot weather.

Best is to install two very powerful sidewall fans to draw out not only the heat of the day, but the heat radiating off of cars once parked. Leaving the garage door gapped about 4 inches will really increase the fan's draw while in use.

First, try to eliminate the amount of heat elevating the garage temperature by insulating the walls and attic. Then, a general whole house fan can be installed as long as the attic space is vented to the outside. Vented soffet and ridge vent will make a dramatic improvement without a fan.
