What is a good relief for razor burn?

When shaving last night I got in a bit of a hurry and ended up with severe razor burn.

Your best bet is to use a post-shave moisturizer. Many of these contain extra ingredients that specifically target razor burn, but any of them will help reduce the pain by replacing moisture that is stripped by your razor. Avoid products that contain alcohol as they will burn upon application and further dry the skin.

Try applying a small amount of Aloe Vera gel to help sooth the burning sensation. Be sure not to shave again over this area until the area is completely healed.

Use after shave and apply to the area. Get a lotion with plenty of Vitamin E which will alleviate the pain. Polysporin helps as well.

You should go out and buy some facial lotion. It would soothe the skin, and take out a lot of the burning feeling in the meantime. You could also get some of that stuff that bring the razor hair up, I think it's called Letic Shave, or something like that.
