Apo-methyldopa could be given as an ace inhibitor. Nu-Medopa could be given also 10 mg/kg/day in 2-4 divided doses.

Ace inhibitors are drugs acting on the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. They are commonly used anti-hypertensives anti-cardiac failure drugs. Usefulness in children is limited for cases of heart failure and enalapril,captopril and cilazapril are proven to be safe but should never be administered without consulting a physician.
