A Heart Healthy diet will eliminate animal fats and include polyunsaturated (healthy) fats. Monounsaturated fats lower cholesterol levels and can be found in nuts, olive oil and avocados. Read the labels on products to make sure they contain zero trans fats. Dont forget to add whole grains, fruits and vegetables and reduce caffine and sodium intake.
