Dice up raw sashimi grade ahi tuna and toss it with soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions and salt and pepper for a delicious ahi poke.

I think some good appetizers for a Hawaiian menu would be pineapple pork bites. You carmalize the pineapple on the grill until there are nice grill marks. You then grill canadian bacon pieces. Then top the pineapple pieces onto the canadian bacon pieces and secure with toothpicks. It is simple and easy.

Poke, which is raw seasoned fish (mahi-mahi). All you do is cut it up, filet it, and season with lemon, salt, and red pepper seasoning.

Hawaiian food is tropical food, so when setting up your menu, think of tropical items such as pineapples. A nice appetizer would be deep-fried pineapple rings.

Everyone seems to love meatballs. To keep simple, just buy precooked bagged meatballs. Put in a crockpot. Simmer grape jelly and bottled chili sauce to taste. Pour over meatballs.
