Well I see someone already answered your question but I thought since I've had this problem I would let you know that I learned that there are some things that should be avoided even with the Chinese treatment: wool/synthetic fibers, certain soaps/detergents, some perfumes/cosmetics, dust or sand and cigarette smoke.

The Chinese herbals that can help with dermatitis are called Kai Yeung Pill, Lian Qiao Bai Du Pian and Chuan San Jia Qu Shi Qing Du Wan. Many practitioners will put together their own herbal formulas after they've taken a complete medical history prior to any treatment being given.

Chinese dermatitis treatments usually prescribe a daily herbal tea, made by boiling and simmering dried herbs for an hour and a half. Some of the other herbs used in addition to yoursare Clematis armandii, licorice, fang feng, red peony, di huang, Schiaonepeta tenuifolia, ci ji li and bai xian pi.  add a comment

Chinese medical practitioners often employ alternative medicines for curing various types of dermatitis. Traditional Chinese treatments for dermatitis consist of acupuncture, herbal medicines and simple changes in diet. For example, a patient might be given a recommendation to enjoy a cup of herbal tea on occasion.

Well, you can use any chinese medicine to help for this, but I strongly recommend drinking green tea. Green tea has helped me cope with my dermatitis. It clears up the skin in no time. You should drink the green tea every two to three times a day and it will help.

Believe it or not a lot of herbal dermatatis cures use urea or pee as the major active ingredient. Kinda gross.
