It depends on your significant other. He/she has likely hinted before at things they would enjoy to do, but never get to. Maybe it's the theatre (not a movie), or a sporting event. Romance is about sacrifice, so do something you know they will enjoy and tell their friends about!

Romantic night, a homemade dinner by candlelight, then watching a romantic comedy and snuggling on the couch. If there's a beach nearby, a walk along the shore.

Making dinner together or for your significant other is really nice. If you want to make it extra special, put some music on, buy some flowers, and light some candles.

You can go as simple as making dinner at your home and lighting some candles, to going out to a nice restaurant, to having a picnic. The best ideas are something that means somethign to both of you.
