What goes into antiquing kits?

My shops has a Gold Leaf Antiquing Kit which includes a 2 oz (59 ml) bottle each of Adhesive Size and Satin Sealer, two brushes, a burnishing cloth, and a book of leafing material. Composition Gold Leaf, a 2 oz bottle each of Venetian Red Basecoat and Antiquing Glaze included.

It depends on what kind of project you have going on. For instance if you are crackling then you would probably get crackle finish, activator, antiquing polish and foam applicators. I believe all kits have pretty information instructions included also.

Formsby Antiquing kit includes one pine of base color, one half pint of glaze and detailed instructions. That is all it included which disappointed me because I thought it would have the brushes and other accoutrement needed but I had to buy everything else separately. It was an EBay kit.
