What does the type mismatch in expression error mean when using Access?

I keep getting the same error message while in Access and have no idea what it means.

Go to Tools then Startup and see if anything is on startup. If anything is there make note of it, unselect all. Then go investigate the item that was set to run automatically and see which links are mismatched. Also find out if a form heaps onopen your mdb and see the Form_Load and Form_Open steps for errors.

The information referred to by items in an Access expression can be either integers, real numbers, text or logical information, but must all be of the same one of these.

It means that you are not formulating your cells correctly. The expression is a mathematical formula that you apparently aren't typing right.

1. Enter this data into A1 to A3: January, February, March. 2. Click on A2 with the mouse to highlight it. 3. Press and hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard. 4. Press and release the "9" key without releasing the Ctrl key. 5. Row 2 should now be hidden, along with the data (February) it contains in A2.
