What does "buenos dias" mean?

The garden workers at my building say it a lot.

Buenos dias literally means "good days" in Spanish. Similar to a lot of other foreign languages, Spanish uses this phrase rather than a simple hello, especially to a stranger or someone they aren't close friends with. It would be similar to simply saying "hello" or "good day".

Buenos Dias means "Hello" or more literally "Have a good day". It is an ordinary way for greeting people in Spanish, Mexican or other Hispanic languages.
