It is a single malt whiskey as you know. It has a cherry sweetness, some toffee with cinnamon and ginger qualities.

It has a very smooth, almost creamy flavor. It is earthy yet it has notes of nutmeg. It is very good.

Abelour Scotch tastes similiar to Glenfiddich, just a little bit more stronger (but not a big difference betweent the two).

For me, and its purely my opinion it tastes like any middle of the range scotch whiskey. I would not want to pay too much money for it butit is better than some.
