What do you think about running to be in good shape?

I like running but maybe want to do something else.

Running is good but very hard on the knees and shins. There are many other exercises that are easier on the knees and shins like stationary bike riding, walking at a little faster pace and swimming which is really great and uses most of your body.

It works beautifully when paired with a healthy diet and lifestyle. Just make sure you get your heart rate up, it's ineffective if you don't.

Running is a great way to stay in shape, but it can be hard on your knees. If you like running but maybe want to do something else, consider keeping your running workouts but trying cycling or rollerblading. Alternatively, try training for a triathlon. The extra challenge should help keep you interested and build on your strengths as a runner.

Well most real runners are in great shape, there are many other things you can do to be in shape. Hiking really gets you in shape. Dance classes are great.
