Traveling in Canada with two dogs is very similar to traveling in the US with two dogs. You may be asked for proof of immunizations, especially a current rabies vaccine.

Make sure first and foremost that you bring your International Health Certificate (You can get this from the vet) Just in the case that you need them. Your dogs should have their rabbis shots as it is the only disease dogs carry that is harmful to humans. Good Luck.

In order to travel to Canada with two dogs, I will need to get the appropriate travel documents, immunizations and a permit to transport animals across the border. I also need to make sure I have the correct travel containers to hold the animals in.

First of all, you should check with U.S. Customs and Immigration to find out the requirements to take dogs across the border. Secondly, if you are staying in hotels, it is best to find out ahead of time which hotels are pet friendly. Researching ahead of time will make for a successful trip.

Pets traveling from U.S. to Canada must be accompanied by their owners when entering the country. Also each pet that is crossing country lines must have a vet's certificate clearly identifying the pet and stating that they have been vaccinated for rabies in last 36 months.
