If he's avoiding you, try turning the tables -- avoid him. Sometimes, guys are overwhelmed if they think they are being pursued. If you act like you don't care anymore, he may come around and be interested in you.
It would be really nice if everyone we had a crush on felt the same way. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way but you should not feel hurt. Maybe you should just try to be friends with him. You can't make someone feel the same way as you do, but a friendship is good thing.
