What do people mean when they say "timewise"?

It doesn't make sense to me.

I think that timewise means how much time do you think you are going to have. What is the timewise we have to finish this project etc.

Timewise comes from two words. Time, and wise. It basicly refers to being wise in using your time. As in, using properly. To give a deffinition to this words, it would being time efficient.
