What do I do with a plugged golf ball?

A plugged golf ball is tough to deal with. If you are playing in a tournament you may be able to move it. Check the rules. If not, you should hood your club and strick down on the ball with an abrupt stroke. The ball should come out with a lot of top spin but it won't go far.

Golf rules say that if your ball is buried in its own pitch mark at least half way, you can drop the ball but no closer to the pin
