It depends on what kind of birth control you are taking. With most versions of the Pill, if you miss a day, take the missed pill as soon as you realize it, then continue as normal. If you've missed two or more, take missed pill, continue as usual, and use an additional form of protection (like condom) for a week.

If you missed just one you can double up the next day, but if you missed more than one you have to restart the pills

If you miss one or two pills you should take that pill as soon as you remember. Take your normal pill as usual. This may mean you will have to take two pills a day to catch up.

You should probably read the instructions that came with your birth control, or talk to your doctor, as there are different instructions depending on the type of control you use.

If you missed a pill, you should take the pill as soon as you remember. If you miss multiple pills, you should take an extra one a day until you get caught up. Don't take a bunch at a time. Also, use a condom as back up birth control until you get back on track.

If you have missed a birth control dosage and you have time before your next dosage then, take your missed dosage but if not take only your scheduled dosage.

If you missed a pill, check the patient handout or online information. Take the missed dose; you may also need to use condoms or abstain until the next cycle.
